Clare Lillis from Rotary District
Weekly Meeting: Clare Lillis @ WOW! ZONE, 2030 Adams St, Mankato, MN 56001

Human trafficking—sexual exploitation, in particular—has been reported in all 87 counties of Minnesota.  Some form of it most likely exists in most of our towns and cities.  Our three Rotary districts which encompass Minnesota/Western Wisconsin/North Dakota and part of Manitoba have begun the task to focus on awareness, education and prevention of human trafficking.  We are speaking at Rotary clubs to raise awareness and give each club tools by which they can raise awareness, educate and prevent it in their own communities.

Clare Lillis, a 22 year Rotarian with the Forest Lake Rotary Club, has been club President, Assistant Governor, District Governor, Zone 28 Mentoring Chair and leader in several Dist. teams.  Now, as co-chair of the Dist. 5960 Ending Human Trafficking in MN,  along with Emma Nazarinia from the Rochester Rotary Club, attends numerous seminars, plays and film screenings to gain understanding of the breadth of the problem and speaks at Rotary clubs and other organizations to raise awareness and spark action to end human trafficking in MN.
